Living in Dubai we’re never short of live music to watch in the city.

With artists stopping on their way to their next tour date or making the special journey to perform in the UAE, there are always a host of great concerts and gigs lined up.

It’s no different this year, with some of the best international artists coming to Dubai and the wider UAE. Whether you’re a lover of pop, rock, reggae, hip hop or Bollywood, there’s an artist you’ll love performing live music in Dubai soon.

February concerts and gigs

Joel Corry

DJ and TV personality, Joel Corry is concluding his month-long residency at FIVE Palm Jumeirah on Saturday. He skyrocketed to success after his collaboration with MNEK with number one hit Head & Heart. Since then, he’s released global hits including Bed with RAYE, What Would You Do? with David Guetta and Bryson Tiller and his most recent number-one single History with Becky Hill. You can catch him at FIVE’s hugely popular Bohemia party on Saturday.

Artful Dodger at Garage Nation

Huge UK garage duo Artful Dodger is playing one of the city’s most popular events, Garage Nation, on Saturday February 4. Coming to P7 Arena, the duo will be joined by MOBO award-winning DJ Luck and MC CKP, MC Ultra, Whitley Ruchea, DJ Blaise & Tom Karno.

The Gipsy Kings

The kings of Catalan rumba are back in Dubai, and if you’re a fan, you’re going to want to be there. The signature blend of traditional flamenco with pop music and Latin rhythms is known globally. Get ready to sing Bamboléo and Volare in what’s set to be a lively night.

Afroworld with Rema and Omar Lay

Afroworld is back this year, taking place at Coca-Cola Arena on Friday February 10. Here you’ll be able to see Nigerian star Rema alongside Omar Lay playing their energetic hits. Tickets start from Dhs175 and the doors open at 7.30pm.

Ludovico Einaudi

After sold-out performances in 2018 and 2019, Einaudi returns to Dubai for two nights in February. The much-loved composer and pianist – who is the most-streamed classic artist of all-time – will host an evening of pop, rock, folk and world music.

Karnivool

Progressive rock band Karnivool are playing in Dubai this week for the first time. The Australian band have just completed a sold-out European tour and will be performing at the Hard Rock Cafe Dubai in Dubai Festival City on Sunday February 12.

Idris Elba at Elrow XXL

Heads up, ravers. Elrow is coming back to Dubai for a huge outdoor festival next year. UK DJ and actor Idris Elba will be headlining the event and joining him will be Sonny Fodera, Armand Van Helden and Wade. Elrow XXL Dubai will be hitting the city on Saturday February 18 at D3 Dubai Design District and is set to host over 10,000 people.

GawDat

Cario-based DJ duo GawDat is playing at The Arts Club on Saturday February 25. The duo have played their groovy beats, which are inspired by 90’s R&B and classic soul at a number of festivals including Sunwaves and Enchanted Forest.

March concerts and gigs

Atif Aslam and Firdaus Orchestra

Pakistani singer, songwriter and composer will be joined by the Firdaus Orchestra in a moving-musical concert. Fans of Aslam’s songs will hear his famous hits including Pehli Dafa, Jeena Jeena, Rafta Rafta, Be Itehaan, Dil Diyan Gallan performed with the orchestra at Coca-Cola Arena.

Marc Almond, Tony Hadley, Heaven 17 and more at REWIND Festival

Love ’80s music?  Pop legends Tony Hadley, Marc Almond, Heather Small, Heaven 17, Go West, Nick Heyward, Altered Images and T’Pau are playing at Bla Bla on Saturday March 4. Coming to Dubai as part of the UK’s REWIND ’80s and ’90s themed festival, the day event costs Dhs350.

UK electronica star Bonobo will take to the stage on March 11. The DJ will be playing hits from his latest album, Fragments. He has seven GRAMMY nominations to his name and a back catalogue of performances including three sell-out Alexandra Palace gigs so this should be a good gig.

Kiss From A Rose singer Seal is playing at Sharjah’s Al Majaz Amphitheatre on Saturday March 11. In an outdoor concert, the British singer will be performing his greatest hits including Fly Like an Eagle and I Am Your Man. Tickets start from Dhs250 for this unlicensed concert.

Ghostly Kisses

Dreamy pop singer Margaux Sauvé will be bringing her ethereal music to the Hard Rock Cafe Dubai on Sunday March 12. At the intimate gig, you’ll be able to hear hit songs including Never Know, Along Together and Heaven Wait.

Travis Scott at Wireless Festival

Wireless Festival is happening in the UAE for the first time and it’s bringing with it huge names in music. On the line-up so far is Travis Scott, Lil Uzi Vert, Wegz, Black Sherif, Ali Gatie, King, Divine, and Young Stunners. With more names still to be announced, this is going to be a big night for music fans over in the Capital.

The Script

Irish boyband The Script are playing at McGettigan’s St Patrick’s Day festival on Saturday March 18. Taking place at the Dubai Media City Amphitheatre, the rock band will be playing their hits alfresco. They will be supported by The Coronas and tickets start from Dhs349.

April concerts and gigs

Texas

Texas in Dubai.

Scottish musicians Texas will be performing at Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium on Friday April 28. Sharleen Spiteri and co. will be filling the stadium with the band’s ’80s and ’90s hits including Inner SmileI Don’t Want a Lover and In Our Lifetime.

October concerts and gigs

Lewis Capaldi

After a double postponement in 2022, Scottish singer-songwriter Lewis Capaldi will be heading to Dubai in October 2023. The star, who cancelled his 2022 shows due to health concerns, will now play at the Coca-Cola Arena on Saturday October 7. The Forget Me singer has performed in the UAE twice before, once at the F1 after-race concert in Abu Dhabi and at Sharjah’s Al Majaz Auditorium, so fans will be eagerly awaiting his return.
