When to Message the Group — and When to Knock

Not every issue belongs in a 400-person chat. A leaking pipe next door might need a knock. A lost cat might need the group.

Ask: is this urgent, private, or public? If you are angry, wait twenty minutes before you type.

Chats stay useful when they are not a courtroom.
